Heron Island was fascinating and the diving spectacular...getting there on the catamaran was pure hell and very humbling! I cried underwater seeing the plethora of fish and eels and sharks and brain coral and rays and big round fish the size of toilet seats that turn 90 degrees and are almost invisible they are so thin. For the second dive in my life, I think I may have been spoiled for anywhere else!!! Thank you Nurse Kate for nursing me back to health after the sea sickness and showing me the stingrays near the wreck.
